      Transcend T.sonic 610 (1GB)

By Douglas Dixon and Brian Dixon

Review summary: Transcend's compact and attractive T.sonic 610/612 series would get a better rating if it supported protected WMA files

Pros: Design and interface are basic, intuitive and attractive; small but bright OLED display; voice and FM recording (no FM tuner in the 612 version)

Cons: Straight-up folder tree navigation; does not support music from online music stores/services; mediocre battery life and transfer speeds
