Pros: GPS signal strength, 4GB hard drive, Display, User interface, Next Turn map option, Included remote control
Cons: Volume, Build could be more rugged.
Verdict: A solid easy to use GPS unit. The iCN 550 has an easy to use interface and comes pre-loaded with Australia, Europe and North America maps.

Pros: Excellent user interface, maps of a large number of European countries pre-installed, lifetime traffic information for UK, Germany and France for a one-off fee at purchase
Cons: Four-digit postcode navigation only, traffic incidents not shown in 3G navigation view, more cables than we would like, device is a bit bulky

Pros: Unlike rival systems which require a Bluetooth connection via a GPRS-enabled mobile phone to receive traffic data, the great thing about the Navman iCN550 is that you don't require any additional hardware.
Cons: On a four and a half mile journey from Islington to East Finchley on a busy weekday afternoon the Navman unit achieved mixed results.
