      Samsung SGH-i320

Review summary: Samsung sent us the venerable SGH-i320, rather than the new SGH-i600, which has Wi-Fi. However, while these differences are hidden away, the two handsets have a fair amount in common

Pros: Small and slim, Comes with a second battery

Cons: Awkward shape, Uses proprietary sockets, No 3G

Verdict: Simply doesn't offer enough to be worth recommending

Review summary: The BlackBerry popularized the concept of push email, but Samsung's i320N is one of several promising "BlackBerry killers" jostling for a share of the lucrative business arena as well as self-employed mobile professionals and power users.

Pros: Superb slim design; bright screen; fast performance; includes spare battery.

Cons: Awkward keyboard; relatively short battery life; uses GSM instead of 3G.

      Samsung SGH-i320

Review summary: Samsung has been causing a stir with its Ultra Edition handsets of late. These are very thin, very stylish phones, which are designed to generate gasps of enthusiasm and delight from anyone who lays eyes on them.

Pros: Keyboard is very useful, Lovely screen, Thin yet strong design

Cons: Average camera performance, No Wi-Fi, Keyboard small for the large-handed

Verdict: It is, quite simply, like no Windows Mobile Smartphone we have yet seen
