      Nokia N95 - black/silver (Unlocked) review

      By Bonnie Cha

Pros: The Nokia N95 cell phone boasts a 5-megapixel camera that produces good-quality photos and videos. It comes with advanced multimedia capabilities and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Symbian smart phone also features integrated GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, a

Cons: The N95 lacks support for U.S. 3G networks; standby battery life is poor; and performance is somewhat sluggish. The hardware feels a bit cheap, and the sliding mechanism could be more secure. It's also very expensive.

Verdict: With a 5-megapixel camera, advanced multimedia capabilities, and GPS, there's no doubt that the Nokia N95 is one of the most feature-packed smart phones to date, but poor battery life and sluggish performance make it hard to justify the high price tag.

      Review: N95 - Nokia's Uber Smartphone Doesn't Disappoint

      By Joe Moran

Review summary: The quad-band GSM N95 also supports data connections via WCDMA/HSDPA, but only the for the 2100 MHz variety used in Europe -for data transmissions in North America networks, this version of the N95 uses EDGE. (As I wrote this, Nokia introduced a version o

Verdict: That same 3.5 mm jack also supports TV out via an included composite video cable. We had to change the default output from PAL to NTSC before the feature would work properly, and display quality is mediocre at best when viewed on a big screen, but it is a

      N95 - Nokia's Uber Smartphone Doesn't Disappoint

      By Joe Moran

Review summary: Physically, there are few similarities between the pricey N95 ($749 MSRP) and that "other" phone. Although it has a relatively small footprint, like many Nokia phones--particularly N-series models-the N95 is a bit of a chunkster, measuring 3.9 x 2.1 x .8

Nokia N95 Welcomes Sling Player with Open Arms

      By Michael Kwan

Review summary: A version of Sling Player is now available for all Series60 devices, including the very powerful Nokia N95 smartphone. Feel free to enjoy your television anywhere you go, connecting through the N95's beautiful HSDPA connection...

Verdict: Before the Nokia N95 was officially launched, I thought the dual-slide design was pretty nifty and I thought it would be great to enjoy some mobile video on the go in landscape mode. And then, at launch, we discovered that this powerful smartphone was not

Nokia N95 (North American Edition, Unlocked)

Pros: The Nokia N95 North American Edition adds 3G support and longer battery life. The Symbian smart phone also continues to offer a 5-megapixel camera and integrated GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

Cons: Without the back of a U.S. carrier, the Nokia N95 is expensive and the hardware feels a bit plasticky. Speakerphone quality wasn't the greatest.

Verdict: The North American Edition of the Nokia N95 brings some notable additions, including 3G support and better performance, to make this powerful smart phone even better. However, it'll still leave a deep gouge in your wallet.
