Pros: Very low price, good performance and build quality, good print quality
Cons: Large photo prints suffer from some banding, small ink cartridges will prove costly when printing large volumes of photos
Verdict: At this price, the C4280 is certainly something of a bargain. However, it's probably best suited for use as a general-purpose office printer rather than specifically as a photo-printer.

Verdict: There are nine buttons in a row on the left edge and a small 3x2.5cm LCD screen is on the front edge, this however is fixed so you need to conform to it, however it is slightly tilted down at the front and is fine from most angles

Verdict: The PhotoSmart C4280 is slow to scan at 300dpi and 1,200dpi, but the quality of colour is most impressive. Only the lack of a PictBridge port made it just miss out on the Best Buy award.
