  Review summary: The RX585 is the more expensive of the two Epson printers reviewed here, but at £129.99 is still affordable enough for most home users
  
  Pros: Very good photo-printing quality, with bold colours and fine detail, affordable inks will also appeal to home users
  
  Cons: The printer driver software is too inflexible and needs to provide more freedom for adjusting quality and speed settings
  
  Verdict: The inflexible printer driver and relatively low speed are a bit disappointing, but the RX585's impressive quality do make it a good choice for photo-hobbyists.
