Verdict: The cost of the ink offsets the low price of this printer, but if you don't want print off reams of pages it's still a bargain

Verdict: Fully featured and sleek, the Canon certainly looks the part, and its text printing and scanning facilities are very competent. However, it lags behind the cheaper HP Photosmart C3180 when it comes to colour graphics reproduction.

Verdict: The Canon Pixma MP460 is a minor update to the MP450. We still like its print quality but were disappointed by its scans. Still, it's one of our top choices for a photo-centric budget all-in-one.
