      Review summary: Fabulous quality at unbelievable speeds. Nothing else here can match it.

      Verdict: But if the scanner is a less frequently used companion to the print and copy functions, we can't recommend the Pixma MP600 enough. With respectable running costs (11.9c per page) bolstering the value for money, it becomes our A-List choice.

      Cons: Large, Scans too contrasty, Slow copying ;

      Verdict: If size isn't an issue, the Canon Pixma MP600 is to be recommended. If there is an Achilles' heel, it's plain paper colour printing depth. An MP600R variant is available with integrated wireless networking.

    • Pros: Fast, slick, full-function machine
    • Cons: None that I know of.

    My daughter has ben using a Pixma in Japan for 5 years with no complaints. She researched the Japanese market and found that Canon are the most popular. This model, reviewed in MacUser (12/10/07), comes out top with 5 mice against Brother (not as fast), HP (too expensive) Epson and Lexmark. Read Full Review »
