Review : HP Officejet 5610 MFU

Review summary: As a MFU it not only prints, scans, copies but also for those who still require it can send and receive faxes. The latter is the difference between an MFU and a All In One.

Product Reviews: HP Officejet 5610
By Jason Saundalkar
Review summary: The 5610 is a quick copier too, though if you're after top speeds then a higher-priced laser all-in-one is probably a wiser choice.
Verdict: The Officejet 5610 is an ideal buy for small or home offices in need of a competent, compact all-in-one.

HP OfficeJet 5610 All-in-One
By Dan Littman
Pros: The HP 5610 is inexpensive and small, and it prints well ;
Cons: The HP 5610 uses expensive ink ; has poor scan quality ; prints slowly ; has no PictBridge port or memory-card readers ;
Verdict: The HP OfficeJet 5610 is affordable and provides most of the home-office basics, but it doesn't stand out from the crowd of better-equipped multifunctions.

Verdict: Fax sending and receiving is something that is not as important to most as it once was, however it worked efficiently. I was pleased to have an on/off switch but of course the unit would have to be left on to receive faxes
