Pros: Great scan quality, cost efficient
Cons: Small LCD screen, some printing issues
Verdict: The HP Photosmart C4280 provides home users with an affordable and convenient multifunction. While there are some minor problems with photo quality, the C4280 is an excellent choice for all-purpose printing.

Pros: Very low price, good performance and build quality, good print quality
Cons: Large photo prints suffer from some banding, small ink cartridges will prove costly when printing large volumes of photos
Verdict: At this price, the C4280 is certainly something of a bargain. However, it's probably best suited for use as a general-purpose office printer rather than specifically as a photo-printer.
