      Lexmark X4550

      By M. David Stone

Review summary: Think of the Lexmark X4550 as a much-less-expensive AIO, with the built-in Wi-Fi justifying the price.

Pros: Built-in Wi-Fi. Prints, scans, faxes using PC fax modem, scans to PC e-mail program. Prints from cameras and memory cards.

Cons: Slow. Severely subpar text quality. Relatively low-quality photos for an ink jet.

Verdict: The Lexmark X4550 offers built-in Wi-Fi at an extraordinarily low price, but its speed and output quality is more appropriate for a much-less-expensive AIO.
