      HardwareCentral - Lexmark X5470 All-in-One Review.

      By Eric Grevstad

Review summary: Of course, the Lexmark doesn't pretend to compete with peripherals costing two to five times as much. Neither wired nor wireless networking, for instance, is built in -- just a USB connector for a single PC, next to the two fax phone jacks (line and ...

Verdict: Another condition shared with practically all inkjets is that the X5470's advertised speeds -- up to 25 pages per minute for black and 18 ppm for color work -- are, well, good for a hearty chuckle. Using plain copier paper, the unit's Quick Print or ...

      Lexmark X5470 (3mice)

      By James Galbraith, Brian Chen

Review summary: The Lexmark X5470 is an easy-to-use printer made for budget conscious users. But its lack of advanced controls, low-resolution scans, and sluggish print speeds will have the wealthier, pickier printer shopper looking elsewhere.

Pros: Built-in color fax ; inexpensive ; automatic document feeder ; included media card reader

Cons: Must swap cartridges for photo printing ; no individual ink cartridges ; no preview LCD ; software is inflexible ; slow ; lines appear in some images

Verdict: Weighing only 14 pounds, the Lexmark X5470 is easy to handle and set up. It connects to your computer primarily through USB; and Lexmark also offers standard Ethernet connectivity and wireless options for $129 and $149, respectively. The printer is ...

      Lexmark X5470 multifunction printer

      By Ursula Seymour

Review summary: Lexmark's latest multifunction device has an attractive, robust design, and scores well for specifications and functionality.

Verdict: The Lexmark X5470 is a winner when it comes to build quality and simple, functional design. It's just a shame that print quality and speed aren't up to par with the rest of its features - otherwise we'd have had a genuinely top-notch MFD on our hands.

      Lexmark X5470 Allin-One printer Review

      By Doug Harman

Review summary: Is this the printer for all your office needs?

Pros: Price, range of features, design, good photo output with additional six-ink cartridge, an attractive design and excellent sub £100 make this great value for money

Cons: Photo printing is slow and very mediocre with “basic” four-ink print cartridge, ADF jams too easily

Verdict: The X5470 is a great office printer, scanner, fax, and copier in one stylish but quite bulky "box"

Review summary: Cheap to buy and run, the X5470 is great for mono printing, but less so for photos and images.
