      Pros: Compact, Stylish, Excellent build, Ergonomic, Swivel LCD, 60 GB hard drive + SD HC, Crisp image quality, Smooth and silent optical zoom, Good battery life, Remote control, Optical image stabilization

      Cons: Awkwardly placed USB port, Not very light, No carry pouch, No optical viewfinder

      Review summary: THE HG20 is an excellent HDD camcorder that easily matches anything else on the market.

      Pros: Unsurpassed image sharpness, 60GB hard drive, lots of manual control

      Cons: Slightly oversized, questionable build quality

      Verdict: The HG20 is an excellent high-def HDD camcorder that easily matches anything else on the market. Although the build quality could be better, its video performance more than makes up for any shortcomings. Highly recommended.
