Compare Prices : JVC GR-D340 -

I went out and got this camrecorder after reading a review in a digital video magazine, this was voted best budget camrecorder plus this was marked 'Editors Choice'.

I did previuosly have a Panasonic NV-Gs27 and with that camrecorder I was well dissapointed with the low light filming. It was extreemly poor & grainy.

With this JVC GR-D340 although you can't expect miracles at this price range there is not hardly any grain in low light conditions, plus you get a nice slight red tint which adds to the playback.

In natural day light the movie perfomance is great , the colours are vibrant. Sound quality is also great.

I busk in central London and i got a friend to film me doing a few songs on my powered amplifier and it picked up the sound beautifully.

I am surprised this camrecorder is so cheap infact it was cheaper then the Panasonic one that I brought but it performed far better.

The only snag I have is when ejecting the DV tapes sometimes you have to press the eject button more then once. Other then that little issue this is a real little gem.
