      Review summary: If you have an HD TV, you might be considering upgrading to an HD camcorder as well. And Panasonic's SD5 may just be the trick - so long as you have enough memory cards to support your HD habit.

      Pros: Form factor ; Video quality ; Connectivity options ; Ease of use

      Review summary: Panasonic's ground-breaking HDC-SD1, released earlier this year, wasn't the first video camera to allow HD video recording to truly flash media but it remains the best 3CCD HD solid-state video camera by a mile.

      Pros: Enjoyable to handle and easy to use, Amazingly good images
