Pros: A good starter DV cam for the newbie wanting no frills and ease of use. Good 30x Optical Zoom, very comfortable handling, good recording quality and aimed specifically at the newbie.

Cons: It's a bit basic, even at the price. It's a pity that a 1000x digital zoom is a feature - it has no use whatever!

Verdict: You can pick it real cheap, and is therefore perhaps ideal for the newbie - but may be considered lacking after a short time.
