By James Dickinson

Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1
By David English
Review summary: If you're a glass-half-full kind of person, it may be enough that the 5-megapixel Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1's feature list contains several first-to-market wins: it records and outputs progressive-scan video at 720p, it incorporates a dazzling 2.2-inch OLED ...
Verdict: If you want the latest in cool toys, the Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1 certainly has the right gadget quotient. Once you look at the image quality, however, its allure dims quite a bit.

Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1
By Todd Zurell (25/05/2007)
- Pros: none
- Cons: It doesn't work
After one repair job for the dreaded black screen issue, it is back again and no resolution from Sanyo. I will never buy another Sanyo product.

Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1
By John Bainger (05/02/2007)
- Pros: Just the one problem so far
- Cons: The lense cap is diffecult to keep on when in a pocket.
I love this little camera. It's solid, well made and easy to use. My only problem has been with the camera setting not opening thus only haveing a blank screen. Sent it for repair but on it's return and withen about 20 shots the camera screen went blank yet again. It is once again back with the repairer.
Has anyone else experienced this problem ???
