Yet again Sony fails to make connectivity simple, or even possible.

Pros: Image and recording quality of this camcorder is good.
Cons: Not easy to use. No conectivity for the PC.

The Image and Recording quality of this Camcorder is, as alway with Sony products, very sharp. The Carl Zeiss lenses are always of the highest standard. Unfortunataly image quality isnt everything when it comes to Recording in Digital. How about accually pluging it into a PC?, I guess Sony overlooked this rather large detail. Im not saying there is completey no way to connect it, there is a way, Through USB(Not good for video connectivity, should be firewire). Ok so USB isnt the ideal solution but its simple enough right?...wrong...In order to plug the camcorder into USB it has to be connected to the docking station which is a total waste of time for doing anything with the camcorder through the PC other than uploading the DV files to the PC. I will be selling mine on e-bay very soon and replacing it with a Canon who pay much more attention to these sort of details and also make there optical product far more user friendly.
