      Sony Handycam HDR-SR11

      Pros: Excellent video and performance ; impressive still photos for a camcorder ; adequate manual controls ; nice CAM CTL dial ; docking station included

      Cons: No wind filter ; doesn't include mini HDMI cable

      Verdict: Sony's 60GB hard-drive-based AVCHD camcorder delivers top notch performance and image quality.
