BlackBerry Pearl 8100
Review summary: With racks and racks of iPhone boxes sitting on the shelves of our local Carphone Warehouse, casting "come hither" looks in our general direction, we thought we'd be wise to check out the competition first
Pros: Small and light, Great email handling, Free PocketMac software
Cons: Clumsy menus, Slow web browsing, Poor storage capacity
Verdict: Nice, but the iPhone would eat it for breakfast

Blackberry 8100
By Anonymous (31/05/2007)
- Pros: Brilliant, leave the Laptop at Home
- Cons: Service providers not brilliant at resolving problems
I have been using the Pearl for just over 4 months and except one period of 4 days when Vodafone could not seem to get the Email sorted after a crash at their end, it has been a super tool. More often than not the emails appear on the phone quicker than the PC. I know I am going on about the email side but that is the most important aspect for me. As a phone is is very good and quite robust but st...

Blackberry 8100
By peter gillespie (19/02/2007)
- Pros: great style, email (when it works)

- Pros: Mutlimedia capabilties and stylish
- Cons: No Wifi and no video recording capabilities
Lately there has been a lot of buzz about the Blackberry 8100. It is the first BlackBerry to have mulitmedia capabilities (both video and Music playback), a 1.3 megapixel camera and expandable media.
As mentioned, none of these features are revolutionary but it makes the Blackberry 8100 a more exciting option for both the consumer market and for businesses.
If you are after a blackberry device a...
