Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte Review
Review summary: The Carbon Arte is the third member of Nokia's Arte premium phone collection and the most expensive yet.…
Pros: Expertly built, stylish design, fluid slider and internal memory hike ;
Cons: Still overpriced, with limited memory and only a slight feature upgrade ;
Verdict: The most stylish and well built Arte phone, and one of the more feature rich premium phones. But not enough bang for the bucks.

Nokia 8800 Gold Arte: Born with a silver spoon
By GSMArena team
Review summary: How many phones can you name that would have made sense centuries back? Here's one: the Nokia 8800 Gold Arte. No, we're not talking medieval calling and texting, we're talking gold and leather. Okay, it may not be solid gold...
Pros: 18 carat gold-plated body ; Genuine white leather padding ; 2" 16M-color OLED display of QVGA resolution ; 3G support ; 3 megapixel autofocus camera ; Full-house retail package with a Bluetooth headset and desk stand ; Decent battery life ; Turn-to ...
Cons: Smallish display with poor sunlight legibility ; Tri-band only ; No memory expansion ; Costs an arm and a leg ; Below-par camera performance ; No video calls ; No Smart dialing ; No office document viewer ; No Java multi-tasking ;
Verdict: Okay, it may not be solid gold, but it's the next best thing - the Arte is gold plated alright, but it sure looks - better yet, glitters - the part. Gold does not react with air and moisture so even after thousands of years gold artifacts do not loose ...

Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte Review
By PhoneArena Team
Review summary: Did you see the word 'Arte' in the title? You did? Does it ring a bell? That is the name of the most expensive product in the Nokia catalogue – the only major company on the market ......
Pros: Slightly different (modernistic) design compared to the other two models, Carries the exquisite feeling for luxury, High-quality sound ;
Cons: Display is useless in direct sunlight, Doesn't offer anything innovative, Controls are not very user-friendly ;
Verdict: Got money... And you know it... Take it out your pocket and show it... Throw it... This a way... That a way... This a way... oops, we got carried away!

Nokia 8800
By Stuart Parry (29/10/2006)
- Pros: Stylish, Very stylish
- Cons: Battery,
I've owned one of these phones for just over a year now and have enjoyed using it. It is a very sleek and stylish looking machine that even now attracts glances. It is quite heavy, you know when it's in your pocket. The main drawback with the Nokia 8880 is the battery life. I've had mine since Nov 2005 and I had to change the battery Aug 2006 as the old one was not holding charge anymo...

Nokia 8800
By Paul Stockwell (07/08/2006)
- Pros: Style, Quality,
- Cons: I didn't Get One Sooner.
I've read a load of reviews about this phone from people bleating about it being expensive, the battery life being poor and fingerprints being a problem on the screen/stainless steel body.
My responses in order - negotiate with your network as I did until they offer you it as a free/low-cost upgrade; get a new higher powered battery as I did that doubles the battery life - about £8.00 from ...

Nokia 8800
By Anonymous (06/06/2006)
- Pros: Style
- Cons: Battary/ buttons
This phone looks great and feels great, so if you wanted it as a paper weight, then its fine!
Just don't try to call 2 people in one day as the 2nd call will last about 30 seconds.
