Samsung D500
By Ross Catanzariti
Pros: Bright and clear screen, easy-to-use interface, 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, sturdy build, impressive features list
Cons: Hard to keep free of fingerprints, no voice dialing, poor battery life, connector cover not attached
Verdict: The D500 is an excellent mobile handset and comes highly recommended. It is packed full of features and offers an impressive camera, but the battery life is substantially poorer than most other models.

Samsung D500
By Dan Chiappini
Review summary: It's not often that a company releases a product that is as functional as it is stylish, and can wow the masses in droves. Samsung's D500 does just this, combining the looks of its last generation E800 slide phone and a feature set to rival anything ...
Verdict: Unfortunately there's also no facility for external memory expansion as is the case with Sony Ericsson's S700i, so you'll need to use it sparingly. Samsung also includes an external speaker with the kit which can be used for speaker phone calls or ...

Samsung D500
By simon robinson (26/05/2006)
- Pros: high quality handset
- Cons: does not do all it should
This phone is an excellent quality handset, with an exceptional screen, and the highest quality slide mechanism on the market. But, the software let it down. The ring volume is too low to hear, and, for some inexplicable reason you cannot have the thing vibrate as it is ringing. I have missed many calls because of this. It has three settings, ring only, vibrate and then ring, and vibrate only. Why...

Samsung D500
By Lucy Allfree (25/03/2006)
- Pros: Excellent phone
- Cons: Photo quality not excellent
I have had this phone for almost a year now and have come to the time to upgrade but am having trouble finding another phone as good as this one.
The photo quality could be better but it is only 1.3 mega pixel. Apart from that it is an excellent phone with a massive memory to store loads of stuff. Absolutely recomended.

Samsung D500
By Edward Desbois (20/12/2005)
- Pros: Screen
- Cons: Combatability
This is a nice little phone. Although the D600 has just come out, the D500 is still worth looking at. Its long battery life, 1.3 million mega pixel camera and screen make it one of the best phones around.
