      Panasonic DMP-BD10

      By Matthew Moskovciak

Review summary: While most people are plenty satisfied with DVD, home theater enthusiasts are getting geared up for the next generation of disc-based video formats, Blu-ray and HD-DVD, which compete directly against one another. While HD-DVD won the first round ...

Cons: Very expensive ; terrible remote ; annoying front flip-down panel on unit ; relatively slow load times ; no HDMI 1.3

      By Rob Gillman

      Pros: Picture quality

Cons: Dull looks ; far too expensive ; so-so DVD upscaling ; rubbish remote

Verdict: £1,100 is far too expensive for this at the moment, but look beyond the price and dreary styling and you've got the best Blu-ray player on the market. True, it's only the second -- but the picture quality with certain discs is stunning

      Panasonic DMP-BD10 Blu-ray player reviewed

      By Richard Lawler

Review summary: The Panasonic DMP-BD10 is the second standalone Blu-ray player to become available, not quite making its expected September launch but sneaking onto store shelves near you this month. Was it worth the wait and/or the $1,300 price tag? Compared to the ...
