      Review summary: The BD-60 can be hacked to play multi-region Blu-rays so you can buy them when your on your holidays with no worries

      Cons: No multichannel analogue

      Verdict: The BD60 is yet another solid piece of Blu-ray hardware from Panasonic, and this hacked version, despite a quite fi erce mark-up, could be a worthwhile investment for avid disc importers

      Pros: 1080p24 DVD upconversion. Google-based online multimedia features. Quick-start feature improves start-up time. Very energy efficient

      Cons: 1080p24 DVD upconversion feature needs to be manually activated. Optional memory required for BD-Live support. Quick-start feature increases standby power consumption

      Verdict: The Panasonic DMP-BD60 adds YouTube and Picasa Web Albums to its list of online multimedia abilities, but it's otherwise a clone of its predecessor.

      Pros: Excellent image quality, sleek and attractive design, lots of useful inbuilt features

      Cons: Unhelpful on-screen displays

      Verdict: On all counts, the Panasonic DMP-BD60 is a well-made Blu-ray player, and it ranks among the best Blu-ray players you can buy today. Highly recommended.
