    Slow, even turgid operation

Sony RDR-HX525 By Alan Marsh (10/06/2007)
    • Pros: Barely manages to get the job done
    • Cons: Takes an age to respond to any instructions

This really is the worst value for money of any electrical equipment I have bought in decades. Not only is it barely functional - capable of the bare minimum of DVD formats, and then the hardest one to write to DVD - it needs a week to think about any instructions it is given, either manually or using the pathetic remote control.

Better, faster and cheaper models abound. Give this one a miss.
