Garmin Nuvi 350
By Anonymous (17/03/2007)
- Pros: Easy to Use
- Cons: Voice Annoying
We brought a second hand car, and the Garmin Nuvi 350 was thrown in as part of the deal! I actually tell people I brought a Sat Nav and got a free car thrown in. However it is brilliant, and I have found it very easy to use, however I decided to upgrade its programme and install some POI's on to it, and disaster it froze! However I rang Garmin, who after tryin numerous differne;t things to ge...

Garmin Nuvi 350

- Pros: Accurate and with road names shown.
- Cons: Text to speech voice a little difficult to understand sometimes
A small, thin unit that sits nicely on the screen on a discreet bracket. Quick to start and with fantastic mapping of Europe (every road and track in France for example) and road names makes it really worthwhile, especially if going off the main routes! The pronunciation of foreign road names is one of the funnier espects, but you can't expect everything to be spot-on.

Garmin Nuvi 350
By Paul Synnott (10/08/2006)
- Pros: Portable, light weight, easy to master
- Cons: Battery life
There are a lot of similar products on the market and the choice is difficult. I can honestly say that the Nüvi 350 has exceeded my expectations. The downsides of the product are 1. The battery could be better and 2. Sometimes it takes a while to initially "find" the satellites. . However the upsides are many: this product slips into your pocket without problem, so you can use it anywher...

Garmin Nuvi 350
By ian course (07/08/2006)
- Pros: Accurate

I had always disregarded sat navs as a gimmick - i was a in a friends car going to an exhibition and "emily" really annoyed me especially as we knew where we were going!!
However i had to travel to europe last week - France, Belgium & Holland. In a rash moment i ordered a nuvi 350 online from globalpositioningsystems.co.uk, their staff were helpful, the product arrived by 9am the next d...

Garmin Nuvi 350
By PETER LILLY (13/07/2006)
- Pros: appears to be accurate to within yards of destination. easy to set.
- Cons: is too polite!
have used this satnav for month. maps accurate, english voice clear, accentless, (and too polite!) - I keep expecting it to say "I said LEFT, fool!"
destinations very easy to set in the uk with either postcodes, or town & street. screen is clear, is capable of being enlarged if required, directions and routes being clearly shown on the screen maps. all-in-all an easily mastered(?) compa...
