Garmin StreetPilot i3
Pros: Relatively small, clear audio, speed / red light camera warnings, easy to use
Cons: Difficult search functionality, slow to acquire signals, bulky form factor, slow to recalculate routes
Verdict: If you're on the lookout for a smaller and simple to use GPS, the Streetpilot i3 would be ideal. More advanced users will be frustrated by the limited control set and slow calculation speeds.

Garmin i3 GPS unit review
Pros: Size, easy to use, works straight out of the box, clear directions
Cons: Needs two AA batteries to power away from the car, weak receiver meant we regularly lost signal
Verdict: The Garmin i3 is a good for the price, but it does come with catches. It is the first GPS we've tested since the original TomTom Go that constantly had trouble locking on to a GPS signal.
