      Pros: The Magellan RoadMate 1200 offers a simple design and basic navigation features at an affordable price

      Cons: The RoadMate 1200 doesn't have text-to-speech functionality, and the system is sluggish with route calculations and recalculations. There are no pedestrian and bicycle routing modes

      Verdict: Despite ease of use and an affordable price tag, the entry-level Magellan RoadMate 1200 portable navigation system suffers from various performance issues.
