Magellan RoadMate 300 review
Pros: Lightweight; accurate GPS receiver; easy to use; bright color screen that's readable in sunlight; sturdy windshield mount
Cons: No hard drive; requires map downloads; SD card slot in poor location; no remote control
Verdict: Magellan's RoadMate 300 lacks some of the features found on more expensive vehicle navigation systems, but it's still a solid performer.

Magellan RoadMate 300
By Anonymous (11/08/2006)
- Pros: Loads good, got me straight to the destination
- Cons: Too many buttons
Was travelling to the Dorset coast in the UK and found the unit got me there 20 mins faster than normal map reading.
Really enjoyed using a sat nav for the first time and was pleased to see i wasnt let down.
The only thing i wasnt too keen on were all the buttons - as soon as they release another with less for direct functions i'm buying it too!
