Review: Mio Digiwalker H610 sat nav

      By Paul Lester

Review summary: GPS, multimedia player and travel companion in one

Pros: Wide range of tools for frequent travellers ; doubles as a multimedia player ; European maps included

Cons: Small display and controls make it difficult to use on the move ; fairly expensive ; not particularly stylish

Verdict: Despite its average performance on the GPS front, we were impressed by all the extras the Digiwalker has to offer, and would certainly like one to hand on a jaunt around Europe

      By paul_smart

Review summary: I saw this unit at the Stuff Live show three months ago, it looked the ideal companion for those who walk around in unfamiliar areas. It can also work efficiently in a car.

Verdict: Doing my searches found the Mio Digi Walker H610 at a best price of £245 from the first link below. This is still very new so the price may reduce as more vendors take it. This could be the pedestrians Sat Nav of choice

      Mio Digiwalker H610

Review summary: Mio looks to put GPS into everyone's pocket with the dinky H610.

Verdict: Until the time that we all have GPS in our phones, the H610 is a great portable navigation gadget. It's highly portable, small, light and actually quite fun. And it's not just for girls.
