      Review summary: Unless NavPix is the functionality you've been crying out for, it is difficult to see past the iCN720's failings

      Pros: NavPix are useful - sometimes. Parking and fuel shortcut keys are an inspired addition. Good, clear voice instructions.

      Cons: Screen is let down by poor refresh rate. Unintuitive user interface. Windscreen mount is a pain.

      Verdict: Sadly, we couldn't get excited about NavPix in practice. The concept works but it would never be a feature that swung a buying decision, especially as the Navman iCN720 has other shortcomings. Memory is limited to 412MB and the hi-res 4in widescreen ...

      Pros: Widescreen display shows plenty of map data ; built-in digital camera and innovative NavPix system ; spoken instructions are loud and clear ; easy-to-enter destinations ; supports full postcode navigation

      Cons: Live Traffic information is an optional add-on ; device is large and heavy ; NavPix needs some refinement and may not be universally useful

      Verdict: The iCN 720 is a high-quality navigation device, with excellent usability and on-screen information display. Although it's intriguing, we're not convinced that NavPix, the image-management system, will have the revolutionary effect that Navman is ...

      Pros: NavPix technology and digital camera, GPS signal strength, 4-inch widescreen, User interface, Next Turn map option, Red light and Speed camera warnings, Included remote control

      Cons: Quite large and bulky, Can't navigate to house number with postcode search

      Verdict: The iCN 720 is a solid GPS unit that works well and includes a digital camera, navigation using photos, 4-inch touch screen, remote control and easy to navigate interface.
