      Navman s90i

Review summary: The main map view of the Navman S90i has plenty of detail but not overwhelmingly so. It's also very grey

Pros: Value for money ; Widescreen display ; Built-in camera ; Easy-to-use interface

Cons: Bulky ; Fiddly widescreen mount ; Built-in camera ; Disappointing POI ; Lacks flair

Verdict: Another benefit is geo-tagging. Every picture you take automatically has GPS reference information added to its metadata - enabling you and others to drive directly to that destination. Navman gives the example of tourist destinations like the Eiffel ...

      Navman S90i Review - GPS

      By Alex Kidman

Review summary: navman s90i review: We'd love to heartily endorse the S90i but, like the spurned high school prom queen in every slasher flick ever made, its surface beauty is marred by intermittent spurts of insanity, and so we can't.

Pros: Great interface, Easy to use POI, Excellent text-to-speech, Bluetooth

Cons: Awful USB cradle, Intermittently insane directions

Verdict: We'd love to heartily endorse the S90i but, like the spurned high school prom queen in every slasher flick ever made, its surface beauty is marred by intermittent spurts of insanity, and so we can't.

Cons: Users must connect the unit to the PC or charge it inside the car as Navman did not provide an AC adaptor

Verdict: The new Navman S90i is one of the best in-car navigation systems we have seen to date. Its widescreen display makes it easy to view, while its features (POIs, Text-To-Speech, Navpix, Bluetooth, and shortcuts to Petrol, Parking & Emergency Services ...

Navman S90i GPS satellite navigation device

      By Bob Cree

Review summary: The S90i is Navmans top-of-the-line model in its S-series of GPS devices. It features a large 4.3in widescreen display, text-to-speech, Bluetooth handsfree calling and, of course, a leather pouch to carry it in. But the feature that really sets the ...

Verdict: This attractive and intuitive navigator is a welcome addition to Navman's S-series. It remains to be seen whether navigation by image will become a hit, but top marks to Navman for not just listening to feedback but acting on it too. Given its high ...
