Sony NV-U51G
Review summary: Weighing 280g, it's not the most portable of devices, but it is stylish and well made
Pros: Verbal instructions are clear ; Easy to fit in car
Cons: No good for European destinations ; No card reader ; Quite large
Verdict: In all, there's a lot to like about the NV- U51G. Once you've mastered the interface, it's quick and easy to use, and directions are accurate. If European mapping is not a requirement, it's also well-priced

Pros: Good size, great price, quick
Cons: Poor docking cradle
Verdict: Designed as a TomTom rival, this is an easy-to-use device with a big screen
