TomTom Go 700
Review summary: The Go 700 is TomTom's first hard-drive-based GPS system and its natty casing is home to 2.5GB of storage, but is it up to the challenge of Britain's congested roads?
Pros: Hard-drive-based GPS with 2.5GB storage. Mapping for entire European road network. Bluetooth connectivity
Cons: Guidance through one-way systems a bit hit and miss. Traffic alerts glitchy. Remote and touchscreen approaching overkill

- Pros: Easy to use, clear mapping
- Cons: Nothing of note
Simple to use, and will accept full post codes unlike some others. Zooming with the + or - (top left/right) of screen gives a broader overview. Great to be able to plan a route from UK to any European destination,to street level, in one operation. Also very good with the Bluetooth link as a hands-free phone system.

- Pros: Ease of use.
- Cons: Bulky for storage. Registration website is not user friendly.
Although excellent for 'close-in' navigation I haven't found an menu option for an 'overview' setting - available on some other products - that allows you to see where you are in relation to other places/locations.
