      Verdict: Those with fat fingers may prefer the excellent Garmin StreetPilot c320 (Issue 98, page 64) as the onscreen keyboard is a bit small, but this cheaper device has more features and better software, meaning it's the one to go for

      Review summary: In-car GPS navigation systems are a boon for anybody that spends a lot of time driving from A to B. TomTom's One is designed to deliver directions en route and allow the driver to concentrate on the road.

      Pros: Fast, Unparalleled array of connectivity options, Two integrated cameras, High resolution screen, Huge QWERTY keypad leads to painless data entry, Swivel screen adds versatility, Easy-to-use, Outstanding navigation

      Cons: Expensive, Design isn't suitable for use as your full-time phone, Large and heavy, Camera shots are grainy, No printed manual, Tricky to reset mid-route

      Verdict: If you spent a lot of time driving around unfamiliar areas, the TomTom One could save enormous amounts of time and frustration. Granted, the design does have a couple of minor issues, and the lack of a printed manual is a little irksome, but the ...
