TomTom One GB

Pros: Works in my car with athermic windscreen

I would have given this the full 5* treatment but wanted to highlight how good the reception is! I've tried several different branded units borrowed from friends in my car and have always come to the same conclusion; I need a external antenna because of the windscreen on my Laguna. The One GB works fine, even getting a 5 bar signal such is the sensitivity of the GPS chipset.

I love it, even use it to drive 5 mins down the road to the shops, easy to use, clear instructions, the volume increases as speed (and engine noise) increases.

I would recommend this to any of my friends, but just one thing, don't leave the holder stuck to the windscreen. A friend was relieved of a drivers door window by someone looking for the device even though it wasn't in the car just because the holder was stuck to the window.
