    Tom Tom One

Compare Prices : TomTom ONE V1 By Mike Loveridge (28/02/2007)
    • Pros: Easy to use and accurate
    • Cons: For updated maps you pay full price for replacement map

The TomTom One is a great gadget. It is easy to use and since buying it is almost impossible to get lost. The update facility is easily installed on a PC with Internet access and very simple to use.
I do not like the way you have to pay for a full new map to get updates. An annual subscription would be much better. Read Full Review »

You still need to look where you are going

Compare Prices : TomTom ONE V1 By ROBERT LACEY (04/01/2007)
    • Pros: Ease of use, clear instructions and fully portable
    • Cons: The window cradle

This is an excellent travel tool, but like every other navigation device you need common sense. If it directs you down an unmade road signposted "Cliff Ahead" or through a "No Entry" or "No Right Turn" don't do it. You wouldn't if you were reading a map so why would you do it with sat nav, it will work out an alternative route anyway. Read Full Review »

Really good - worth using the referal site to get one for free

Compare Prices : TomTom ONE V1 By Anonymous (02/01/2007)
    • Pros: Ease of use, never get lost
    • Cons: battery life

This is a really good piece of kit, it is not something I use every day but if I ever need to take the kids to a theme park, museum, friends house or visit anywhere else I have never been to it is great - no more arguments with the wife over directions. It is also worth getting the European version and then taking it on holiday, you then never get lost abroad either when you hire a car!
