    TOM-TOM ONE

TomTom ONE V1 By JOHN STEEL (13/10/2006)
    • Pros: JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING
    • Cons: NO CARRY POUCH

Makes the wife redundant at last!. She is very pleased as she had score of -1/10 at map reading.
This is the best money anyone could spend on a car accessory. Only found one minor glitch in the system, when I put it to the test and drove across country in the opposite direction on purpose, it got its own back by wanting to turn me down a track to a PIG FARM!. If it has any failings at all it is in... Read Full Review »

    Good Value

TomTom ONE V1 By David Potts (06/10/2006)
    • Pros: Small, light, Cheap
    • Cons: Maps a bit dodgy in some areas

The first one out of the box was duff, but Curry's replaced it no problem.

2nd one works really well, good sensivity in 'canyons' and under trees.

The maps are sometimes inaccurate and on one occasion I was directed into a dead end.

Mostly very good, useful tool and saves hours on journey times. Read Full Review »

    tom tom one

TomTom ONE V1 By michael foster (27/08/2006)
    • Pros: really a first class product
    • Cons: would like a wallet to put sat nav into when not in use save screen

had my tom tom one now for over a year found it well worth the money. as a delivery driver covering different areas each week, saves me time stopping and looking at maps, which is nigh on impossible when in heavy traffic or in city centres.found no problems with the directions that it gives,as a driver where you go is up to your own common sense.not to rely on anyone or any other means.

    well worth the investment

TomTom ONE V1 By colin howitt (18/08/2006)
    • Pros: A great asset in the car, when combined with a road atlas
    • Cons: Can't delete incorrect addresses, only from favorites list

A fantastic bit of kit, I use it all the time, even on regular journeys, it gives me an ETA, which is good when a customer wants to know when you are arriving.
You do need to have a reasonable degree of map knowledge when asking for a route, it can take you some very strange routes!
Would I recommend, most certainly, a good size screen, small in depth and with the pouch, keeps it safe, always remo... Read Full Review »

    Amazing, buy one now

TomTom ONE V1 By Anonymous (10/08/2006)
    • Pros: Ease of use and traffic avoiding
    • Cons: Have to pay for extra maps and battery not great

This is fantastic, I bought this about 2 months ago and have had no trouble with it at all. It came with a 1 month pilot of the traffic software, which is incredible, it had me knocking loads of time off my journeys at busy times.

I managed to get it for £204 from the link website, but I think its gone up since.

I also downloaded the USA maps (had to buy a new SD card to fit them on, but this ... Read Full Review »
