Verdict: The TomTom ONE can't be beaten at its price. Its design perfectly fits its function in both hardware and software terms, and it really is built to last. There aren't many gadgets you can actually say are a pleasure to use, but this is one of them.

Pros: Design and aesthetics, user interface, excellent maps, "Help Me" safety feature, fixed speed camera alerts
Cons: Battery life, AC charger not included
Verdict: The ONE 3rd Edition adds an excellent safety feature to an already outstanding unit, though it's a shame battery life hasn't been improved. Regardless, it's definitely great value at this price.
