Tom Tom Rider European Maps
- Pros: Good Screen layout and great touch screen
- Cons: Difficult to mount on sports bikes without making special brackets
I have just completed a 4000 mile solo Moto tour of
10 european countries on an Aprilia Falco using a Tom Tom rider for GPS navigation. It was great but the european maps were a little out date with many new roads omitted. But with a little common sense it caused very few problems.
I purchased the system in August 2006 and now Tomtom want approx £100 to upgrade the maps to the latest version. I think that is taking the mick and they should make available free upgrades for the first 12 months. Watch the maps are the latest version before you purchase!
