      Jamo i300

      By Ty Pendlebury

Review summary: Competitors are barking at its heels, but the all-black i300 is still a very good iPod dock and PC speaker replacement. Your ears will thank you.

Pros: Crystal-clear sound ; Separate sub and satellites leads to placement flexibility ; Attractive finish ; Choice of colours to suit your iPod

Cons: Lack of warmth and bass detail ; Limited bass control ; One of the most expensive iPod docks

Verdict: If you want to listen to music, go for the i-Deck, but if you want a relatively flexible system that is better than most other competitors, this is a good option

      Jamo i300

Review summary: iPods don't generally get dedicated 2.1 dock systems. Has Jamo bucked the trend or jumped the shark?

Pros: Wide soundstage. Good detail. Excellent build

Cons: Pricey. Lower frequencies can lack definition

Looking for big, home-stereo sound in a small, attractive package You may have found it.

      By Dan Frakes

Review summary: The Jamo i300 is unique among iPod speaker systems we've tested: It's a sub-sat system that provides home-stereo-quality sound, but its components are small enough to be hidden away in most rooms.

Pros: Very good sound quality ; attractive, compact design ; easy-to-use iPod Control Dock ; RF remote ; excellent build quality

Cons: Relatively expensive ; audible dip in frequency response at crossover ; basic remote with poor layout

Verdict: When we first unpacked the iFi last year, our first reaction was to marvel at its size and appearance. The massive 14.5" x 10.5" x 11.5" subwoofer/amplifier unit and 8.5" x 4.75" x 5.5" satellite speakers comprised the largest iPod speaker system we'd ...

      Jamo i300

      By Dave Carter

Review summary: Jamo is the most recent of the big manufacturers to release its iPod dock and we'd been looking forward to reviewing it since we first saw it in action at the 2006 Bristol Show. Costing a whopping £300 it is the most expensive on test, but then again ...

Pros: Incredible sound, stylish design, powerful wattage

      Cons: Expensive
