      Q Acoustics 1010

      Review summary: An outwardly conventional, but surprisingly well engineered, 5.1 channel system

      Pros: Remarkable attention to detail , Impressive clarity and image precision, Price

      Cons: Needs a decent amplifier

      Verdict: Overall, the subwoofer would be a candidate for an upgrade, especially in larger rooms or where high replay levels are on the menu. But the rest of this impressive system is truly capable, and all at a throwaway price

      Q Acoustics 1010

      Review summary: This little speaker is as cheap as it is tiny. Can something so small deliver true hi-fi sound?

      Pros: Attractive sub-miniature, Solid engineering content

      Cons: Very limited bass output, Limited loudness capabilities

      Verdict: You'llbe surprised at just how good such a cheap speaker can sound. Ultimately, though, it lacks bass for standalone hi-fi use.
