- Pros: Fantastic price for a widescreen LCD TV and PC monitor.
- Cons: You may need to upgrade your software to use PC monitor in widescreen.
I picked up one of these in the Winter sale at Euronics for a fantastic £199.99!
Absolutely no problem setting this up as a TV, although I needed to tweak the video settings on my PC to get it to work correctly in wide-screen mode. In fairness though, this is more a problem with the PC and not the TV.
No evidence of a single dead pixel on my unit (view the TV in AV mode or PC mode without any ac...

Daewoo DSL17D3
By Debbie Evans (19/12/2005)
- Pros: Ease of use, cost and value for money (plus batteries for the remote!)
- Cons: Doesn't seem to switch automatically to scart
Got this as an early Christmas present and am absolutely delighted. Easy to get up and running straight out of the box and everything was tuned in within minutes. Picture quality and sound are far better than I would expect at this price (£250) so this little unit is fantastic value for money.
Lots of inputs on the back & didn't expect to get PC connectivity at this price. We got the laptop...

- Pros: All the input jacks you could wish for. £250. Easy to set up and use
- Cons: Not the best picture/sound in the world.
Waddayawant for £250? I bought one to use as a PC monitor and TV in spare room with an OK TV aerial feed. TV picture not the greatest, but that is down to the aerial, the DVDs play great. Easy to set up, with DV Camera, DVD player, laptop, and PC all connected and working within minutes. You will have to buy the leads but that is easy done if you take the instruction book to the shop (great di...

Daewoo DSL17D3
By michael shires (10/09/2005)
- Pros: if nothing else available
- Cons: where do I start????
bought one, had dead pixels, took it back for exchange, next one had even more dead pixels. ok its only £300, but you expect it to work problem free from the start. basically, dont bother. even when set up in 2nd room with co-ax cable pic quality was worse that 12yr old 14in tv. and then to have 2 with dead pixels, well, shambles.
