JVC LT-42DA8BJ 42in LCD TV
By John Archer
Review summary: The LT-42DA8BJ's design is more run-of-the-mill than fancy showpiece, but can the same be said of its picture quality? John finds out.

JVC LT-26DA8BJ
By John Archer
Review summary: This is not the very top level of DynaPix in JVC's current range, but it still contains processing elements for improving sharpness, reducing video noise, optimising contrast, and managing colours. The only disappointing thing about the 26DA8BJ's ...

Cons: Black levels are average, colour tones can go awry during dark scenes, no D-Sub PC feed

JVC LT-42DA8BJ
Review summary: You don't have to look hard to spot the 42DA8BJ's main claim to fame. It's a 42in LCD TV that costs just £1,000. But is it really as great value as it appears? It's nothing special to look at, certainly.
Pros: Very cheap, Good with bright images
Cons: Limited connections, Struggles with dark images
Verdict: This is the least expensive big-screen LCD TV that JVC has ever produced - but to some extent it shows
