      Review summary: At times the 37LF75's picture quality is outstanding

      Pros: Good connectivity ; Good price ; Crisp HD pictures

      Cons: Black levels are so-so ; Noisy SD performance

      Verdict: Despite its flaws, though, we really like the 37LF75. Even at its worst it's better than average for the money, and at its best delivering HD programming, we'd regard it as quite outstanding

      Review summary: LG squeezes a full HD resolution into this LCD TV and it's yours for an enticing 700 or so.

      Verdict: If money's no object, you can certainly find better full HD LCD TVs than the LG 37LF75. But considered more fairly in the context of its highly affordable price, it at least warrants a place on any sub--800 audition list.

    I spent the last 6 months thinking about what I wanted and reading countless LCD reviews before finally settling for an LG.

    Our 21" CRT (wedding pressie back in 1991) was just about ready for the scrapheap, so I started looking at LCDs after the summer hols.

    After reading review after review and speaking to pals and shop assistants at every opportunity, I was leaning towards a Toshiba or LG. finally settled on the LG 37LF75.
