November 2005
LG 32LP1D
Review summary: The design is straight from the Darth Vader school of thought, featuring swathes of heavily glossed black with even the accompanying learning remote looking like a Sith Lord's light sabre. Integrated side speakers and a swivel stand add more width ...
Pros: HDTV Ready, Complete connectivity, Support for wide range of PC and memory card applications
Cons: Bulky design, Average performance for the price
Verdict: The 32LP1D provides plenty of convergent options for external devices but overall picture performance falls below the standards you should expect at this price. Shop around: there are TVs that offer far better specifications at cheaper prices

LG RZ-37LZ31
By Adrian Marshall (18/12/2006)
Just hooked up my RZ37 to my Toshiba sd360e using a HDMI to DVI-D cable as the the DVD player (whilst not HD) has a HDMI output. I must say that although the colours were great the black was terrible. They were blotchy and looked fake and as a result I have gone back to using the component video output. Could be the DVD player but will have to wait and see with a proper HD source.

- Pros: Picture Quality. OUT OF THIS WORLD
- Cons: Cant think of one.
Before I got the LG RZ-37LZ31, I bought the Toshiba 37WL58 and I must say that the LG blows it out of the water. Great LCD,Picture quality is as good as I have seen in a LCD. Cant wait for the HD to be hook up with it.

LG RZ-37LZ31
By Derek Bracknell (24/10/2005)
- Pros: Fantastic picture, elegant style, HDTV ready
- Cons: Aukward on-screen display, slow to change functions, terrible manual
Just had this product for about two weeks and the quality of the product and picture is outstanding and I haven't even tried it on an HD source yet. Sound is OK but nothing special. I will be using my Sony cinema system for sound anyway. The design is clean and elegant and I particularly like a full set of manual control buttons down the right hand side behind the frame. The only down side for...
