Review: Panasonic TX-32LXD500
By Dave Carter
Review summary: Our hands on review of Panasonic's TX-32LXD500 HDTV...
Pros: The LXD500 is a high definition panel that boasts XGA resolution supporting 1386 x 768 pixels and a 700:1 contrast ratio.
Cons: The one annoying thing at this moment in time with any HD panel is the lack of HD broadcasts to watch! This means you're currently unable to get the most out of your shiny new screen.

Panasonic TX-32LXD500
Review summary: Regular readers will know that we've long admired Panasonic's flatscreens. Yet it's also become increasingly difficult to ignore a single, consistent flaw in them: a lack of true high-definition compatibility.
Verdict: Connectivity is dominated by that HDMI port but there's lots going on besides, including three Scarts, component video inputs, an SD card slot so you can use the TV for playing back or recording digital stills and MPEG4 movies, a PC jack, and finally ...

Panasonic TX-32LXD500 32 inch HD-Ready Viera LCD TV with Freeview
Review summary: The combination of glossy black screen frame and silver trim sported by the 32LXD50 is fast becoming the de rigeur flat panel look. But the quality of the finish sets this set apart from the look-alikes.
Pros: Design, General audio visual quality
Cons: Not fully HD Ready, No PC or digital inputs
Verdict: The 32LXD50 is also refreshingly free from motion smearing, indicating that it has a reasonable response time. And the screen does manage that rare but enviable feat of making pictures look more or less equally enjoyable from any source, whether it is ...

By Shane Ess (05/06/2006)
- Pros: This is an awesome TV with ALL the tricks from a great manufacturer
- Cons: Wrong model number
This is the best LCD TV on the market, you can read proper reviews from what hi fi and what LCd to see this
But make sure you get the LXD600, the LXD500 is the old model (looks different to the one in the pic
Peace

Panasonic TX-32LXD500
By kaziz1977 (12/01/2006)
- Pros: Picture Quality, stylish and sleek design, quality all round
- Cons: high pitched sound in standby mode
I ordered this tv just before it was launched, had to wait in the queu, and boy, was it worth the wait. Picture quality is fantastic, second to none. Sound is also good. Easy to use with onscreen menus and auto setup. Plenty of ports at front and back. I paid £1250 a few months back. The only thing that I am not happy about is the high pitched sound when the TV is in standby mode. I'm not sure...
