Panasonic Viera TX-37LZD80F
By Vincent Lheur
Review summary: Now offering a range of LCD TVs that is as complete as its collection of plasma screens, Panasonic has brought us this new model with Full HD 1080p. The screen itself is matt, which will be welcome news to those of you who have their TV in a bright ...
Pros: - Excellent colors, - Wide viewing angle, - Very good scaling for SD images (DVDs/consoles)

Pros: Styling ; price ; sound ; menus and EPG are well laid out and crystal clear
Cons: Freeview performance ; sharper LCD TVs are available at this price
Verdict: If you watch a lot of Freeview, this isn't the TV for you. If you don't and instead play lots of games, it becomes a better buy. Unfortunately, there still isn't enough to make it worth buying this screen over one of Panasonic's fabulous plasmas

Panasonic TX-32LZD80
Review summary: An attractive, if not original design from Panasonic
Pros: Good connectivity ; Great Freeview pictures ; Full HD
Cons: Disappointing black levels ; Hi-def pictures lacking in detail
Verdict: This TV doesn't have 100Hz, which combats LCD's common problems with handling motion. For that you'll have to look higher up the manufacturer's new range
