      Cons: For the price, the sound is only just better than average. It's still good, but for close to two grand, you'd be well within your rights to expect something more in keeping with the rest of the telly

      Verdict: We won't beat around any bushes (unless they're on fire): Philips knows how to make televisions. Here it's shoved everything bar the kitchen sink into this gogglebox and it shows.
