      Review summary: Unless, that is, you're easily seduced by a good body. For despite not enjoying the 'touch of colour' boasted by higher spec models in Samsung's range, the LE40A558 still has the glossy finish and sultry lines required to stand out on today's crowded ...

      Pros: Nicely designed, very cheap, decent feature count, solid pictures

      Cons: Processing can glitch, doesn't sound particularly great, and there's much more motion blur than you get on Samsung's higher spec TVs

      Review summary: A 'Full HD' 1080p LCD TV for under £500? That'll be Samsung value. The Koreans have pulled another cracking bargain out of their capacious bin with the 32A558, a high-gloss, low-key 32-inch model with a panoply of image-processing features and options

      Pros: Smartly designed ; well connected ; picture quality is generally very likeable

      Cons: There are better performers out there ; not enough reasons to choose this over higher-spec Samsung A656 range

      Verdict: The LE32A558 is certainly an accomplished and attractive LCD TV -- just as we'd expect from Samsung these days. We came away from it, however, feeling that if it was us, we'd be looking to find the few quid more necessary to get hold of Samsung's ...
